Damage Plan /Judas Priest
This one goes out to the Muslim terrorists of 9/11, and all those who celebrated when the event occurred. I've got nothing against other Muslims--just the terrorists.

Are "The Long Run" and "Trying' to Live My Life Without You" the same song?
I was listening to The Long Run by The Eagles and was reminded of this Bob Seger tune, very similar sounding, especially the horn parts. I can't post The Long Run because the audio is disabled on the YouTube videos. Think The Eagles ripped off Bob Seger? Or maybe they just changed Otis Clay's song and renamed it?

Finally, a "metal" version by Janis Joplin with Big Brother and the Holding Company:

The Ventures-Slaughter on Tenth Avenue
The original (?) version of Slaughter on Tenth Avenue, by The Ventures. Has a "cleaner", almost country sound to it.
Mick Ronson-Slaughter on Tenth Avenue
Excellent cover of The Ventures track, this also appears on the Ian Hunter Live Welcome to the Club album.
